Joe wrote, “My brother-in-law, Anthony Gerald Ciccone, stepped off this plane called earth last night. I have known him since I was living in Michigan in the spring of my 15th year, so many years have passed,” he wrote.

Joe wrote, “Anthony was a complex character. Like a true brother, our relationship was sometimes tangled. But I loved him and understood him. Goodbye, Anthony,” she sent a farewell message.

Madonna is the most successful artist and billionaire in the world, but contrary to her sister, Anthony had been living homeless under a bridge in Michigan since 2011. He lost his job at the family winery due to alcoholism and has been estranged from his family, including his father and Madonna, ever since.

In a past interview, Anthony said, “I am invisible to my family. I’m not a person. They think I’m a disgrace. If I froze to death, my family wouldn’t know or care for about six months. As for his sister Madonna, he said, “I’ve never loved her, and she’s never loved me. We’ve never had any love for each other.

Madonna is usually active on social media, but she has not posted in the past few days and has not made any comments about Anthony’s death.

Madonna is one of eight siblings, Anthony, Martin, Paula, Christopher, Melanie, Jennifer, and Mario Ciccone. Their mother, Madonna Ciccone, died of breast cancer in 1963 at the age of 33.
