Rapper Cardi B revealed that her court-ordered community service made her realize many things.
Cardi B’s Community Service Provides Insight
Rapper Cardi B was arrested in October 2018 for directing her cronies to assault two women who were working as bartenders at a New York strip club in August 2018, and for being part of the brawl. Cardi B was arrested in October of the same year on charges that she herself was part of a brawl. Cardi accepted a plea deal in September of last year after pleading guilty to the case, which allegedly stemmed from her suspicion that Offset, a member of the rap group Migos, and one of the female victims had had an affair.
Cardi was originally required to complete her community service in January, but she missed the deadline and was summoned by the court and told that she would be sent to jail if she did not extend the deadline and meet the new date.

Before each community service, she was told, “You are about to do community service. Don’t commit a crime.” “Community service until 4:00 p.m. today…. Just because you are famous does not make you special…. Obey the law!” Cardi, who showed she was doing it right by posting a selfie on Twitter with the comment, “I’ve been doing community service for years, and it’s been the best thing that’s ever happened to me.
Community service was the best thing that ever happened to me. It was like a spiritual journey, and I would come home from the center in tears. The people we left behind (i.e., those at the center) just need someone to talk to and have their backs, and you just might change their lives forever.”

Incidentally, Cardi did her community service at a veterans’ shelter, where she also shared on her Instagram livestream, “I learned a lot. I didn’t know about veterans or people who went to war,” she said. It was so sad and heartbreaking.” She revealed that he learned many things through his activities at the facility.
