According to reports, the company has not paid rent since March at its office in Colorado, USA.

The rent for the office in question had previously been paid from a letter of credit that took effect in 2020, but the arrears began in March 2023 when those funds ran out. The monthly rent is estimated to be around $27,000.

The landlord filed a lawsuit against Twitter in May. As a result of the trial, the company was ordered to vacate the premises by the end of July. In the past, 300 employees worked at the office, but the number of employees may have been cut in half due to cutbacks and other factors.

Twitter is also reportedly refusing to pay Google’s other cloud services Google Cloud and Amazon Web Services.
