The 95th Academy Awards ceremony was held on 12 March (local time).

The film Everything Everywhere at Once, starring Michelle Yeoh, achieved the feat of winning the most awards at this year’s Academy Awards, winning in seven categories: best screenplay, best editing, best director, best actress, best supporting actress, best supporting actor and the highest honour in the film industry, Best Picture.

When the Best Picture award was announced at the end of the ceremony, Harrison Ford appeared on stage as presenter. When he announced that the Best Picture award went to Everything Everywhere at Once, the film’s director and cast took to the stage with an explosion of joy.

As he took to the stage, Ke Huy Quan, who won Best Supporting Actor for the film, was the first to run up to Harrison Ford and exchanged a hot hug.

Harrison Ford and Ke Huy Quan previously worked together in the 1984 film Indiana Jones and the Temple of Doom. Fans were very moved to see these two reunite on the highest stage of the Academy Awards after so many years.

Harrison has always cared about Ke Huy Quan, and when it was announced in January this year that Ke Huy Quan had been nominated for Best Supporting Actor at the 95th Academy Awards, he said in an interview with Entertianment Tonight: “I’m happy too. He’s a wonderful actor. He has been since he was a little boy and he still is. I’m very happy”.

This is not the first time Harrison and Ke Huy Quan have reunited at the Oscars. Last September, the two met by chance at Disney’s D23 Convention and posed for a photo, which made headlines.
