Netflix’s hit drama series “Stranger Things,” starring Millie Bobby Brown as Eleven, follows a group of children living in Hawkins who battle creatures from the “underworld” and the adults who try to take advantage of them. Season 1 premiered in 2016.

Season 1 began in 2016, when the children were very young, but by now, up to Season 4, they are all adults. Noah Schnapp, who plays Will and is the youngest of the main cast, turned 18 this year and is about to enter college.

One of the charms of “Stranger Things” has been its ability to portray the growth of characters from young childhood, through adolescence, and into adulthood, and some have said that they were moved by Will’s growth in Season 4. However, there were some difficulties for the actors who played him. In an interview with Flaunt, Noah revealed this memory.

It was the peak of change. He was an adolescent, growing up, and everything was changing for all of us. And the directors didn’t like it. One of the producers came to me and said, ‘Noah. Is there any way you can speak in a higher voice and be a little more forward? I remember being told, ‘I need the purity that you had in season one. ‘ I don’t know how to respond. My voice is getting lower. I don’t sound young anymore.

Voice changes are inevitable, and there is nothing Noah can do about it. The pressure to change is especially high for singers, and one hears anecdotes in the industry about the dangerous demands made on singers to keep their voices low. Noah was never in danger, and as one would expect, he was kept to a minimum, but there were still times when he was asked to do something reckless.

Nevertheless, the boy Will was very important to Noah, and Noah has many good memories of his cast mates, such as Millie, with whom he is very close. He showed a glimpse of his love for the character by saying “Will is like my baby.” He revealed the possibility of a spin-off film of the drama and his desire to make a movie with Millie someday, and expressed his positive attitude, saying “There is always something to look forward to.

Noah also challenged himself to expand his world when he went to college. He currently works part-time as a lifeguard and said he will study business instead of acting in college.
