Jennifer recently launched an alcohol brand inspired by the Italian coast, but the news was met with a fierce backlash from fans. Many fans pointed out that Jennifer does not drink alcohol.
In an Instagram video promoting Delola, Jennifer wrote: ‘I’ve been working non-stop and hard for decades, but more and more I realised the importance of enjoying life’ and ‘something better – something tastier, with better ingredients, something to drink with friends and family, From there I wanted to create Delora”.
Just minutes after Jennifer shared the video with her 240 million followers, disappointed fans flooded the comments section. They slammed Jennifer’s decision to launch an alcohol brand. ‘Wow, this is disappointing’, ‘This feels so off your brand, genuinely wondering why you’re selling alcohol’, ‘Jlo you don’t drink alcohol. This is something that is known and has been pointed out many times’, ‘but you literally don’t drink alcohol, do you?’ Comments such as, ‘You’re a money-grubber.’
One fan also left an opinion wondering why Jennifer had chosen to launch an alcohol brand, given that her husband Ben Affleck had been in rehab several times in the past for alcohol problems.
