Actress Amber Heard, known for her role in Aquaman, has reportedly quit Hollywood and moved to Madrid, Spain.

Journalist Alison Boshoff reports in the Daily Mail that ‘Amber has quit Hollywood and quietly moved to Spain with her young daughter Oonagh’.

A friend of Amber’s said that ‘she is bilingual in Spanish and is happy raising her daughter there, away from all the noise’.

The friend also stated that ‘I don’t think she is in any hurry to return to work or Hollywood, but she will probably come back when the time is right, for the right projects’.

Speaking of Amber, she sold her home in Yucca Valley, California, in July 2022. Since then, she has spent much of her time in Spain. Last October, she was photographed on a beach in Palma de Mallorca. A few days before that, she was seen playing with her daughter Oonagh (2) at a kids’ park while on holiday in Spain.

Since welcoming her child via surrogate in July 2021, Amber has mostly kept out of the public eye. Reports of Amber’s move to Spain come almost a year after her defamation trial with ex-husband Johnny Depp.

During the trial, Amber claimed that Johnny was encouraging her fans to defame her, continuing: ‘People want to kill me and they tell me that every day’ and ‘People want to put my baby in the microwave and they tell me that. ‘This is horrible and distressing. And this is humiliating for any human being,’ he complained, his voice shaking.
