The publication of Britney Spears’ “brutally honest” memoir may be delayed.

The Sun reports that the book’s publishers, Simon & Schuster, have received ‘strongly worded legal letters’ from people who fear what Britney has written.

A source commented: ‘Britney is brutally honest in the book and there are a lot of nervous top stars. The source continued, “Strongly worded legal letters have been sent to the publisher from people who know Britney and fear what she has written.”

This source also said that there has been no movement on the book so far, but added that there are new concerns about when it could finally be published.

The report did not name any of its top stars, but Britney is known to have dated Justin Timberlake and married Kevin Federline in the past. Her wedding to Sam Asgari was also attended by many stars, including Madonna, Paris Hilton and Selena Gomez.
