Actor Tom Holland has played Spider-Man/Peter Parker in MCU films since his debut in the 2016 film Captain America: Civil War.
Tom has appeared in six MCU films to date and is expected to continue to play an important role in the series as Spider-Man, but in the past he has inadvertently violated Marvel’s “no spoilers” rule and has been accused of spoiling MCU films. In the past, he has often annoyed the production team by inadvertently spoiling MCU films, in violation of Marvel’s “no spoilers” rule.
One particularly jaw-dropping spoiler was when he slipped up while promoting Avengers: Infinity War. Tom made headlines at the time when he blurted out information about its sequel, Avengers: Endgame.
Director Joe Russo spoils Tom Holland’s spoiler.
One of the “victims” was Joe Russo, who directed Avengers: Infinity War and Avengers: Endgame.
Joe, who is still bitter about Tom’s major spoiling of the Avengers series, posted a video on his production company AGBO’s TikTok account, in which he made fun of Tom.
The video recounts a situation during a meeting about Avengers: Endgame in 2018, where the video states. ‘2018. We were talking about the Top Secret Avengers: Endgame synopsis when Tom Holland walks into the room’.
In the video, the director says: ‘Then…’ and tries to discuss the synopsis, but realises that Tom has walked in and interrupts the meeting by changing the subject to ‘I don’t know’.

Of course, the director is not really rooting for Tom to spoil the story, and this was posted as a joke. Tom’s spoilers have often been the story amongst his Marvel friends.
