The car chase “doesn’t work in New York”.

Prince Harry and Princess Meghan were “very upset and shaken” after being involved in a two-hour paparazzi chase in New York on Tuesday night (16 May local time). Reports of a “near-catastrophic car chase” had been circulating, while her photo agency had denied it.

In the meantime, Whoopi said on The View, a talk show on which she is a panellist, “I think people in New York know that if you could have a car chase in New York, we’d all make it to the theatre on time,” “but their publicists are generally I think he said something that he would refer to in Los Angeles. That’s where you can chase. It’s a place where you can move fast,” he said, revealing his own view. And while he acknowledged that Prince Harry and Princess Meghan were “dealing with aggressive paparazzi”, he added that car chases “don’t work in New York”.

However, another panellist, Sunny Hostin, did not agree with Whoopi, saying that “no one is claiming that there was a high-speed chase, and there is a point where you think of a chase as a high-speed chase” and that Prince Harry’s mother, Princess Diana, was involved in a car accident involving paparazzi in 1997. She mentioned that she had died at the age of 36. ‘If they felt scared, let’s give them credit for that. His mother died in a catastrophic car chase and he knows it and [Princess Meghan] knows it. When I see situations like this, I wouldn’t want to be in a situation where an e-bike or a sedan is aggressively chasing me around town.”
