The local media reported that he has agreed to join Inter Miami of the Major League Soccer (MLS) in the United States.

The Saudi Arabian media all reported that Messi had signed a provisional contract with Al Hilal for a salary of 600 million euros (90 billion yen) per year, but information was mixed afterwards, with Messi’s side requesting that the contract be postponed. As the situation became more tense, Saudi media reported on June 7 that the deal with Al Hilal had officially broken down.

Saudi News 77, a Saudi media outlet, reported, “Messi will sign with Inter Miami, a U.S. club. The news that Messi would sign a contract with Al Hilal within 48 hours was incorrect,” the Saudi media outlet Saudi News 77 said.

Inter Miami, led by legend David Beckham, had plans to loan him to his old club Barcelona, and Messi has decided to go to Miami first.

The report added that MLS has already confirmed that if Messi signs with Inter Miami, he will make his debut in a League Cup match against Mexico’s Cruz Azul on July 21 at Florida’s DRV PNK Stadium.

However, the situation has taken two or three different turns, so it remains to be seen until the official signing of the contract. All eyes are on the superstar.
