The non-profit Screen Actors Guild of America Foundation has appealed to the union’s 2,700 highest-earning stars for financial support in order to help its members in need.
Courtney B. Vance, president of the National Screen Actors Guild Foundation, said she received an immediate response from the team led by Dwayne, “It was full of love. （Because [Dwayne] stood up, others will know of the dire need,” she told Variety.
