Megan Fox, who played the heroine Michaela in the first and second “Transformers” movies, posted a message on her Instagram page in response to negative reactions to her see-through dress.
It all started with a photo posted on Instagram by Megan’s hairstylist. In the photo, Meghan was wearing a form-fitting Jean Paul Gaultier see-through dress, and some people who saw it pointed out that “her nipples were showing” and criticized her. Immediately afterwards, Meghan posted photos and videos of herself in the same dress on her Instagram page, and she responded that what was visible through the dress was not her nipples, but her nipples. She wrote, “Before you type in anger, those are not my nipples. So please calm down. My nipples are safely and completely hidden under my nipples, so please don’t worry about them,” she calmly commented to those who are overreacting to her nipples.
Incidentally, Megan has disclosed that she has body dysmorphic disorder* and said, “I have never seen myself the way other people see me. I have never loved my body for a moment in my life,” she said of her own body in a special issue of Sports Illustrated’s swimsuit issue released in May of this year.
*A morbid affliction in which a person feels so much mental anguish that it interferes with his or her daily life because he or she is obsessed with an appearance flaw that does not actually exist or a minor appearance characteristic that he or she considers to be a flaw.
