Prince Harry will attend his father King Charles’ coronation next month.
The coronation of King Charles III, who ascended the throne last September, will take place on 6 May.
The royal family recently published its invitation on social networking sites. It was gradually revealed who from the royal and imperial families of various countries would attend.
Now, Buckingham Palace has issued a statement regarding the attendance of King Charles’ second son, Prince Harry, and his wife, Princess Meghan.
Prince Harry will attend King Charles’ coronation. Meanwhile, Princess Meghan and their children, Prince Archie and Princess Lilibet, will not attend and will be in California, USA, where they currently live.

In a statement, the Palace said: ‘Buckingham Palace is delighted to confirm that the Duke of Sussex (Prince Harry) will attend his coronation at Westminster Abbey on 6 May. The Duchess of Sussex will remain in California with Prince Archie and Princess Lilibet”.
Prince Harry and Princess Meghan have been rumoured to be feuding with the royal family, as they have been criticising the royal family since leaving the senior royal.
Despite this, Prince Harry decided to attend the coronation. A person claiming to be a friend of Prince Harry’s commented on why he decided to attend, saying that he decided to attend the coronation to support his father at this important moment in his life.
The reason why Princess Meghan and her children will not be present has not been disclosed, but may be influenced by the fact that 6 May, the coronation date, is Prince Archie’s fourth birthday. A person claiming to be a friend of Meghan’s told People magazine, “She will be celebrating with Prince Archie and Princess Lilibet that weekend”, while a source told Page Six, “Meghan wouldn’t miss her son’s birthday.”
And previously, Meghan and Prince Harry had made three requests to the royal family when they attended the coronation: that Prince Archie and Princess Lilibet be invited, that Prince Archie’s birthday be taken up in some way, and that he be allowed on the balcony with other members of the royal family. As it was said that they had been, it was also said that Princess Meghan’s absence may have been due to the fact that those requests may not have been met.
