Actor Johnny Depp (60), who also plays in the band Hollywood Vampires, was seen walking with a cane after injuring his ankle.

Johnny’s band, Hollywood Vampires, had announced via social media on Sunday, May 28, local time, that they were postponing their tour.

The reason given was that “Johnny suffered a painful ankle injury after a recent appearance and has been advised by his doctor to refrain from traveling.

However, Johnny arrived in Boston with a cane on Friday, July 28, local time, to see if his ankle injury had healed. He seemed to have a big smile on his face as he walked with the cane before the concert that day. Johnny wore a black and white oversized plaid blazer with a button-up and white T-shirt underneath. He also wore a layered necklace, blue hat, and sunglasses in a very “Jonide-esque” fashion.

When announcing the postponement due to Johnny’s injury, the Hollywood Vampires said, “He is devastated by this situation and looks forward to resting up so that the four of us can give our best performance on the European tour. The shows were originally scheduled for May 30, May 31, and June 1 in Manchester, New Hampshire, Boston, and Bethel, New York, respectively.

A week after Johnny was injured, a fan asked the band’s tour photographer, Kyler Clark, about his condition. Clark responded, “He’s recovering! It’s going to take some time for him to fully heal, though. He’s wearing boots so he can walk,” she commented.

Fans were relieved to see him smiling in the paparazzi photos this time.
