Veronica Correia, the fan who threw her bra into Drake’s concert, has become a household name.
On July 21, Veronica threw her bra toward the stage at Drake’s concert at Barclays Center in Brooklyn.
In an interview with TMZ on July 25, she revealed about the shocking offer, “Playboy magazine contacted me,” she said, “and they said if I offered, they would hire me right away, so I offered and they hired me. And they said they wanted to talk to me right away,” she said, describing the sudden change in her life.
At the concert, Drake, who was holding Veronica’s bra on stage, called the audience to search for the bra, asking them to identify the woman who owned it immediately, and over the next few days Veronica became a major topic of conversation on social media.

After the concert, several women came forward claiming to be the owner of the bra, but on July 23, Veronica posted a video via TikTok of herself throwing the bra into the crowd. In the caption accompanying the video, she wrote, “Many women claim to be the owner, but don’t let them fool you. I am the owner.” She declared that she is the true owner of the bra.

In the interview, Correira also revealed that she did not initially intend to throw the bra. Looking back on the concert, Correira revealed her struggle to throw the bra, saying, “In my head I was thinking, ‘No, this is a bra that I have to wear tonight, so I have to leave it on.
But her mind changed the moment Drake began singing in front of her. I thought, ‘Okay, let’s do it. I felt like if I threw my bra at his feet, he would pick it up,” she explained her decision. But then, Veronica continued, “When Drake really picked up the bra and reacted, I lost my head. Even though it was something she had envisioned, the shock of it coming to fruition was still great.
Veronica even received a response from Drake himself to the story she posted on Instagram about the concert, but she has yet to respond. She said, “Honestly, I guess I was too shocked to reply, but anyway, a lot of things went through my head. I was thinking about what I should say, how I should reply,” he said.
Drake had shoes and bras thrown at him on stage in Detroit. Then, at a concert in Montreal in early July, he called out to the audience, “Before we go on to the next song, I just want to say, I’ve never been on stage without a bra and I’m disappointed… but please don’t throw shoes, phones, xxxx,” while cautioning against throwing other things. She invited people to throw them in.
