Sadie Sink, 21, a popular actress who made her debut at age 11, says her style was influenced by the character she played in Stranger Things.
Sadie got her breakthrough role as Maxine Max Mayfield in the hit Netflix sci-fi horror series
told the London Evening Standard that the fashion of the Maxine Max Mayfield character she played in season 2 in 2017 influenced her.
‘In fashion, I found myself adopting that character’s style during and after filming. In season three, for some reason I felt I was with Max and really identified with her style. I felt like she was playing with color and taking inspiration from the 80s. It definitely connected to my real life, and that shoot lasted about two years, so if you wear a character’s clothes for that long, they somehow become ingrained in you.
Her makeup is always simple and natural, and she never goes without brow gel for her eyebrows when she goes out. I have yet to play a character with a specific beauty look. It’s always a natural look.
Sadie appeared in the campaign for Armani Beauty’s fragrance “Si Eau De Parfum Intense” alongside Cate Blanchett. She said of her role as the brand’s new global ambassador: “It’s that time of year when you’re growing up. Wearing Armani clothes and beauty products makes me feel very mature and sophisticated. Just recently I came up with the idea of introducing it to roles in the future.”
