Gucci presented its new collection “EXQUISITE GUCCI” at Milan Fashion Week. The show featured a collaboration with Adidas called “adidas x Gucci”.
The collection featured the iconic Adidas symbols throughout the collection.
The runway of the show, which was held in front of an audience, had black and white squares on the floor and a mirror wall where reflections appeared to be distorted like an illusion.
There were large “trefoils” on the chest of jackets, on the back of cape jackets, and on a large Gucci Diana bag, and a “tracksuit-style” suit with three stripes on the side, combining formal and sporty elements. As for the accessories, the collaboration items with Adidas were scattered on caps, gloves, shoes, and scarves.
The collaboration is said to be a combination of both brands’ heritage and creative codes.
Celebrities such as Rihanna and Aesop Rocky, Jerret Leto, Korean actor and brand ambassador Lee Jung-jae, and former tennis player Stan Smith were also present at the event.
