David Harbour, who plays Jim Hopper in the hit TV drama “Stranger Things,” has lost 36 kilograms for the shoot.

How did David Harbour lose 36 kg in 8 months?

 

On July 1, Vol. 2 of Season 4 began streaming on Netflix, and on the day of distribution, the hit drama “Stranger Things” attracted so much attention that the servers were shut down due to the flood of viewers who wanted to watch the sequel at the same time.

In Vol. 2 of Season 4, David Harbour, who played Jim Hopper, lost a lot of weight.

 

David lost about 36 kg (80 lbs) for the role, partly due to the fact that he was in a Russian prison. Looking back on the filming, David said, “I lost about 80 pounds (36 kg) since season 3. I was about 270 pounds at the time, but by the time we shot (season 4), I was about 190 pounds,” he told GQ.
