Actor Ezra Miller and Warner Bros. recently met to save the film “The Flash.
Speaking of Ezra, he has previously appeared in the DC Extended Universe as The Flash in “Batman v Superman: Dawn of Justice” and “Suicide Squad. He then had a project in the works for a stand-alone film, “The Flash,” but had to deal with a lot of problems, including the director and screenwriter dropping out of the project. Finally, Andy Muschietti, the director of “IT,” decided to take the megaphone, and the film actually began principal photography, which was completed at the end of 2021. Since the end of March 2022, however, Ezra has faced multiple legal controversies, beginning with several arrests in Hawaii. There have been reports of brainwashing, harassment, and assault, yet Warner is reportedly not recasting Ezra.

In the meantime, according to a new THR report, Ezra recently met with Warner Bros. and DC to try to save the film. The meeting was reportedly between Ezra, his agent Scott Metzger, and Warner Bros. co-chairmen Michael De Luca and Pam Abbey. According to the report, Ezra requested the meeting after learning that De Luca and Abbey were considering canceling “The Flash.”
Assuming “The Flash” is successfully released, the extent of Ezra’s participation in the press tour will depend on the extent to which his image is repaired over the next few months. It has recently been reported that many people are of the opinion that Ezra’s involvement will keep them from going to see the film.
