She has decided to part ways with Polydor.

Little Mix was formed in 2011 on the popular British audition show “X Factor” and became a globally popular group. Jessie Nelson had been a member of the group since its debut, but in December 2020, she suddenly announced her departure from the group.

Then, in May 2021, Jesse announced that he had signed a contract with Polydor Records and Universal Music, a label under Universal Music, as a solo artist.

The Sun reports that Jesse has decided to part ways with Polydor one year after signing with the label.

A source said, “Jessie has decided it is the right time for a clean break. She and the label have been going in different directions for the past few months. It’s not that they are at loggerheads, but Jessie thought it would be better to start fresh now, while everyone is still friends,” the source revealed.

Jessie’s publicist added, “Jessie Nelson feels that now is the right time to move in a new direction. As a result, she has decided to part ways with Polydor” and admitted that she is terminating her contract.

It is unclear which label Jessie will sign with in the future, but we look forward to hearing more from her as she leaves her hometown this year and continues to work on new music all the way in Los Angeles.
