Anne Heche, 53, an American actress who was critically injured in a car accident in Los Angeles a week ago, has been pronounced brain dead. The U.S. media reported on August 12.
One week after the accident, she has not regained consciousness.
On August 5, Heche drove her car into a house in Los Angeles and was taken to a hospital where she was in a coma.
