Eric Holder, the defendant who murdered Nipsey Hussle, was sentenced to 60 years in prison.

On Wednesday, February 22, the Los Angeles Court of Appeals sentenced Eric Holder, who was convicted of first-degree murder and other charges for the murder of rapper Nipsey Hussle, to 60 years in prison.

In addition, two other people were injured by the shooting, in addition to Nipsey, and Holder was charged with two counts of attempted murder, two counts of assault with a firearm, and possession of a firearm by a felon, in addition to the murder charge.
Prior to his conviction, Holder was threatened by other inmates while waiting to be transferred from the county jail to the courthouse. Holder, who suffered a severe wound to the back of his head, was unable to attend the trial, and there was a period of time when the trial itself could not take place, which delayed his sentencing.
