In 2021, two of singer Lady Gaga’s beloved dogs were taken by someone. At the time, Gaga said she would give a reward to the person who found her dogs, but it had not yet been paid, so she was sued by the person who found her dogs.

Lady Gaga sued over her dog’s abduction.

On February 24, 2021, a dog walker who was taking singer Lady Gaga’s three beloved dogs, Cage, Gustav, and Asia, for a walk in Hollywood, California, was suddenly attacked by a man with a gun, and Cage and Gustav, two of Gaga’s three dogs, were taken away.

At the time, Gaga was in Italy for the filming of the movie “House of Gucci,” and upon hearing that her dogs had been kidnapped, she immediately announced that she would pay a reward of $500,000 (approximately 68 million yen) “no questions asked” if her dogs were returned.

A few days later, a woman named Jennifer McBride returned two of Gaga’s dogs. This time, however, Jennifer sued Gaga because the reward money had not been paid.

What is the woman’s appalling claim?

The reward money should have been paid, but Jennifer was arrested when it was revealed that she was dating the father of one of the suspects. Jennifer later pleaded guilty to receiving property belonging to another person that turned out to be stolen and was placed on probation for two years.

However, Gaga said she would give him the reward money “no questions asked,” which Jennifer says is a breach of contract. And she is seeking not only the original $500,000, but also three times as much, $1.5 million, in damages for posting the misleading reward.

Los Angeles County Deputy District Attorney Michelle Hanisey told TMZ that Jennifer was fully aware that Gaga’s dog was stolen when she returned it, and that she had known the men involved in the dog walker shooting for years.

Incidentally, the man responsible for this incident, James Howard Jackson, pleaded guilty to attempted murder and was sentenced to 21 years in prison.
