Jungkook appeared on BBC Radio 1’s “Live Lounge” on July 20 (local time).

Jungkook, who appeared on the program with BTS in 2021, revealed his first solo single “Seven (feat. Latto)” and a cover song on stage after being out as a solo artist for almost two years.

Jungkook, who was introduced by the MC as a “global pop star,” said he was “very happy” to be appearing on the stage again and performed “Seven” and a cover stage of “Let There Be Love” by the British rock band Oasis live.

In an interview with the facilitator, Jungkook did not hide his excitement about his solo song “Seven,” saying, “I have been waiting only to meet my fans with good music, and finally it came this way,” and when asked about his memories in the UK, he said, “The BTS Wembley concert was my last. That time remains as a good memory, but now is a new ‘best moment’,” he replied, to his delight.

Jungkook, who expressed his gratitude and love to the fans, was asked by the MC about BTS’s recent activities, “Through solo activities, each member continues to grow by utilizing their individuality and colors. I can’t wait to see it.

Seven” topped Mnet’s “M COUNTDOWN” broadcast on July 20. The song also held the No. 1 position in the “Daily Top Songs Global” for six consecutive days with over 11.84 million daily streams on the latest chart (July 19) released by Spotify, the world’s largest music streaming service, and surpassed 100 million streams in six days of release.
