What popular food did Margot stand in line for three and a half hours to eat? She excitedly talks about her memories of Kyushu and Tokyo.
Popular actress Margot Robbie recently visited Japan on a private visit.
Margot Robbie, who was interviewed by Vogue magazine for her starring role in the film Barbie, which will be released in August, talked about her recent trip to Japan.

One of Margot’s private visits to Japan was to take a ride on the Nanatsuboshi, a seven-car train that travels across Kyushu.
The ‘Nanatsuboshi’ is a luxury sleeper train that travels around the seven prefectures of Kyushu for two to three nights and four days, allowing passengers to see the mountains, sea and rich land of Kyushu from the train windows and to experience nature, food, hot springs, history, culture, power spots and human kindness. Prices range from 650,000 to 1.7 million yen.
Margot also visited Tokyo and Kyoto and toured popular noodle shops featured on food blogs.
In Tokyo, she said she queued for three and a half hours to try something called ‘Udon Carbonara’.
The noodles were thick and silky, with pepper, chunks of butter, parmesan cheese, raw egg and spring onions,” Margot details, adding that the food was “the most wonderful thing that ever happened to me”.
Margot also had a unique tempura there. ‘And there was this huge, huge bacon tempura. (She said she used her hands to describe how huge the bacon was.
In addition to Margot, a great many other international celebrities make private visits to Japan. Recently, popular singer Rihanna and her partner, popular rapper A$AP Rocky, visited Japan with their just-turned-one-year-old son and were seen visiting the Roppongi branch of popular ramen chain Ippudo. Also this spring, Kim Kardashian, the second daughter of the Kardashian family, visited Japan with her children and posted on social media to enjoy the cherry blossom season in full bloom.
