Chris Pratt Mourns “Everwood” Actor Treat Williams: “He Was a Wonderful Actor, Husband, Father, and Friend”

Following the passing of actor Treat Williams (age 71), known for his roles in films such as “Hair” and “Deep Rising” and the international drama “Everwood,” actor Chris Pratt posted a condolence message on social media.

According to ABC, just before 5 p.m. on June 12, Treat was driving a motorcycle in Dorset, Vermont, when he collided with an SUV that was turning left to enter a parking lot. Treat, who was thrown from the motorcycle and seriously injured, was immediately transported by helicopter to Albany Medical Center in Albany, NY, USA, where he was pronounced dead.

Everwood” is a TV drama series that aired on The WB in the United States. The heartwarming storyline resonated with viewers, and the series ran for four seasons from 2002 to 2006. In “Everwood,” Treat Williams plays Andrew Brown, who moves to the beautiful town of Everwood after the death of his wife and opens a free clinic. Chris played the role of Bright, the brother of Amy Abbott (played by Emily VanCamp), who falls in love with Brown’s son Ephram.
