Final Fantasy 16″ demo version is now available.

The “FINAL FANTASY 16” demo version allows you to play through part of the adventures of Clive Rothfield, the boy protagonist at the very beginning of the story, and to experience the basics of 3D action battles and battles between summoned beasts one step ahead of other players.

After clearing the game, the “Summoner Action Trial” will open up, allowing players to experience Clive’s extensive actions in handling the summoner’s powers. Note that although the latter is a cutout of a portion of the main story, you will be fighting with presets prepared for the trial version.

The time required to complete the game is about 2 to 3 hours, and the cleared progress can be carried over to the main game.

◆If you play “FF10”, how can you not react?

First of all, overseas streamer PeachMilky noticed that the scene in the demo version where Clive tries to call Ambrosia (Clive’s beloved chocobo) reminds him of a scene from “Final Fantasy X (FF10)” released in 2001. Clive’s attempt to call the chocobo seems very natural, but in “FF10” the “finger whistle” is a memorable one, and one that symbolizes the connection between Thida and Yuna.

It is not an exaggeration to say that the appearance of the boss “Dragon Knight of Dazzle” in the middle of the demo version is almost identical to the pose of the dragon knight depicted in the title logo of “Final Fantasy IV (FF4)”.

It has also been pointed out overseas that the voice of the dragon knight Dazzle Yoh sounds exactly like the voice of the dragon knight Estinian in “Final Fantasy XIV (Shinsei FF14)”.

In addition, the general battle BGM sounds like it contains a phrase very similar to the “Don’t be Afraid” battle BGM from “Final Fantasy VIII (FF8)”. Masayoshi Soken, the composer of “FF16,” has arranged many past works’ music in “Shinsei FF14,” and the phrases and traditional music that are casually incorporated in this version of the game are highly anticipated.

Naoki Yoshida, the producer of “FF16,” has created a “FF theme park” through “Shinsei FF14,” and even if you are not directly involved in the past titles, you may notice many scenes that you may recognize as “Oh…? Even if you are not directly involved in the past works, you will probably notice many scenes that you would recognize as “Oh, well…?

FF16” is a completely new story with an independent worldview. Even if you have never played the series before, you can play “FF16″ with confidence.

FINAL FANTASY XVI” will be released for PS5 on Thursday, June 22. A demo version is currently available.
