On August 28, 2022 (August 29, Japan time), the MTV Video Music Awards, the music awards ceremony for the year’s best music videos and artists, will kick off at the Prudential Center (The Rock) in New Jersey, USA.

The 2022 MTV VMAs are the most nominated with seven nominations for Kendrick Lamar, Lil Naz X, and Jack Harlow, followed by Doja Cat and Harry Styles with six nominations, Billy Irish with five nominations, Drake, the Dua Lipa, Taylor Swift, The Weeknd, and Ed Sheeran followed.
