Popular rapper Kanye West seems to be “going wild” again.
Kanye West has drawn outrage for his anti-Semitic comments and “White Lives Matter” T-shirt design. In the wake of these incidents, brands such as Balenciaga, Adidas, and Gap made the decision to cut ties with Kanye, which has become a hot topic.
This time, Kanye revealed plans to get rid of leftover merchandise he used to sell for hundreds of dollars.
In a video published on Youtube by celebrity news site X17, Kanye gave a tour of his Los Angeles studio, where Kanye “cut 100 hoodies from Yeezy, from Balenciaga, (from Gap and Adidas) and everything we do will be $20.” He spoke about the discarded inventory. He added, “We need to make sure everyone gets the same level of cuts, the same level of food, the same level of water, the same level of education.” He also showed off some new designs, saying, “We have engineering opportunities, we’re moving past the past, and we’re looking to the future.”
Kanye also showed off his “Ye24” design in the video, an outfit promoting his run for president in 2024, which he claims was created by repurposing Balenciaga sweatpants and other items.
Incidentally, Kanye wore a white messenger bag ($1,290) and a sweatshirt ($1,150), both designs from a recent collaboration between Balenciaga and Adidas.
