A flag was thrown in against James.

Immediately after the hit, a flag was thrown in against James, who walked to the blue medical tent and then walked back to the locker room. Doolin, on the other hand, also returned to the locker room under his own power, but was examined and found to have a concussion and was removed from the game.

The play in question occurred with 5:19 remaining in the second quarter. This is when Colts quarterback (QB) Nick Foles threw a pass to Doolin that did not go through. James skillfully read the play, but had the top of his helmet against Doolin and appeared to hit Doolin in the head and jaw area.

James, a three-time Pro Bowler, had three tackles and one interception before leaving the field. In the 14 games he has started this season, he has a total of 109 tackles and two interceptions.

Doolin, who is taking on his fourth season since joining the Colts, has 15 receptions for 207 yards and one touchdown in 11 games this season.
