Prince Harry and Princess Meghan Ordered to Vacate UK Residence

King Charles of the British Royal Family has asked his second son, Prince Harry, who left the royal family at the end of March 2020, and his wife, Princess Meghan, to move out of Frogmore Cottage.

Frogmore Cottage is one of the mansions on the grounds of Windsor Castle, known as the late Queen Elizabeth’s last home, where Prince Harry and his wife have made their home since 2018. Although it was used as a base in the United Kingdom after they moved to the United States, Prince Harry and his wife have returned home only a few times during the past three years, and it is currently rarely used. According to The Sun, King Charles is considering having his younger brother Prince Andrew live at Frogmore Cottage.

A spokesperson for the Archewell Foundation, established by Prince Harry and Princess Meghan, confirmed to People that the Duke and Duchess of Sussex have been asked to vacate Frogmore Cottage,” confirming the report. According to one source, they will have to vacate by the summer.

Incidentally, a friend of Prince Harry and his wife said of the request to leave, “It feels like an ultimatum, like a cruel punishment. It’s as if the family wants to cut them off for good,” he told biographer Omid Scobie.
