Pamela Anderson, Playboy model and actress from the Baywatch series, portrayed in the drama Pam & Tommy. She confessed that she was very shy before her Playboy career.

In a recent new interview with ET Canada, Pamela said, “I hated how I looked.

I hated everything. I was very shy and thought everyone else was pretty. So I had no confidence or self-esteem”. But Pamela said everything changed when she started modelling for Playboy in 1989.

‘I was in Vancouver and Playboy approached me a couple of times and I said ‘no’. And at some point I thought, ‘Why not? ‘ I thought, ‘I’ll give it a try.’ Then I got to LA and I was terrified,” Pamela recalled.

‘Then I did my first photo shoot for Playboy. I opened my eyes at the first flash and it felt like I was falling off a cliff. Not trying to control it, just …… It was like I was allowing it”, and “it was my first sense of freedom”, she said of her first Playboy photoshoot, which gave her her first sense of freedom.

Pamela, as mentioned above, is also remembered for her portrayal in the hit drama Pam & Tommy. The role of Pamela was played by Lily James, who was nominated for an Emmy Award along with Sebastian Stan, who played Tommy, and the series as a whole was nominated for 10 awards.

She is also the focus of a Netflix documentary film, Pamela, a love story.
