It has been discovered that the private island from the popular film is up for sale.

The real estate agency Engel & Völkers is currently listing Little Pulp Cay, a 38-acre (153,786 sq m) private island in the Bahamas. The price is a whopping $100 million (about $13,921,760,000).

What’s more, the island is a favourite with film fans, having appeared in 2002’s Pirates of the Caribbean and 2006’s 007: Casino Royale.

Engel & Völkers says of the island, “It is without doubt the best property and a rarity on the international property market. It offers unparalleled privacy and a wide range of recreational activities that are unique to the island”.

The property is also available for immediate purchase and can be rented out for between USD 75 000 (USD 1.044 million) and USD 95 000 (USD 1.323 million) per night.

The island, 70 miles (113 km) southeast of Nassau, the capital of the Bahamas, can also be reached by plane from Florida.

There is one main mansion and four guest houses built on the island, which all together have 11 bedrooms and 12 bathrooms.

Further facilities include a private helipad, a spa and a huge infinity pool.

Several docks are also available, so yachts, watercraft and boats can be owned. In addition, marine activities such as kayaking and jet skiing can be enjoyed.

Another selling point seems to be that the 365 islands surrounding Little Pulp Caye are mostly uninhabited, which provides complete privacy.
