Monday, July 10 local time US premiere in New York City! The World Promotional Tour finally arrives in the U.S., just a weekend before the release of the film! Only one last stop left in the tour <Japan>!

The world promotion tour of this film started with a grand opening at the recent world premiere held in Rome, where the popularity of the series roared around the world as media from all over the world rushed to the massive red carpet that blocked off Piazza di Spagna and over 3,000 fans arrived. The tour then traveled around the world to London, Abu Dhabi, Seoul, Sydney, and finally landed in New York City, where the film was set to open this weekend. The event was attended by Tom Cruise, who stars in the film, regulars Simon Pegg, Ving Rhames, and Rebecca Ferguson, as well as Vanessa Kirby, who joined from the previous film, and newcomers Hayley Atwell and Pom Klementieff, who have already garnered rave reviews for their performances. In addition to the superb cast, a total of 19 people gathered, including director Christopher McCarey, who has been directing this series since the fifth film! The event was attended by many fans eagerly awaiting the release of the film, and Tom was as gracious to them in New York as he has been in the past.

In Sound Bites, he said, “It’s so real when you see it on the big screen and with great sound. We have been looking forward to this moment when all of our fans can see this film for a long time. All of us in the production have dreamed of being able to tell the world about the film’s release.” He also expressed his joy at finally being able to deliver the film to his fans after overcoming various filming difficulties, such as the global pandemic of the new coronavirus that forced filming to be suspended, saying, “This is a moment that will never fade for me. I am grateful and my gratitude only grows. It’s a very special moment.” He also revealed that the joy of being able to show the film to the public is always a special moment, no matter how many times he has experienced it.

When asked about one of the most talked-about scenes in the film, the motorcycle jumping scene from the cliff, he replied, “I remember well the first time I did the falling motorcycle jump, I thought my body might shake if I looked straight down. Once your body starts shaking, even if you try to compose yourself, it’s hard to stop shaking.” So all I remember from the bike jump is the feeling of the tires and the air hitting my body. I just prayed that the bike wouldn’t hit me.” He also revealed that he relied on his own senses during the filming. Looking back on the actual filming, he said, “I didn’t even know when I gave up the bike. I don’t even know what really happened.” It was an extreme shooting situation. After flying, however, he said, “I thought about falling deep enough for filming. I wanted to film the fall, and I knew that the deeper I fell, the better the footage would be.” Even when he was falling, he was concerned about his work. After I opened the parachute, I was careful not to get caught on the mountain,” he said. He was careful not to get caught in the mountains after opening the parachute,” he said. So after I opened the parachute, I prayed it wouldn’t happen.” I prayed that it wouldn’t happen,” he said, revealing that he had unexpectedly had some trouble in practice before the actual flight. Under such circumstances, the scene of the motorcycle jump was completed. The scene was completed under such circumstances, and the spectacular jump scene, which shows no signs of anxiety, is definitely worth seeing in the theater.
