Oasis, the popular band that led the rock scene in the 90s, is reuniting. A meaningful Instagram post has become the talk of the town.
Rumors of an Oasis reunion have surfaced again.
Oasis, one of the most popular rock bands in the U.K., broke up in 2009 due to a disagreement between Noel Gallagher and Liam Gallagher, although they released super hit songs such as “Don’t Look Back in Anger,” “Champage Supernova,” and “Wonderwall. Oasis.
Since their breakup, there have been numerous talks of a reunion, and it was revealed that Liam had actually approached Noel about a tour to celebrate the 30th anniversary of their debut album “Definitely Maybe,” and they themselves were working on a reunion, but Noel turned them down and the talks never happened.
Then rumors of an Oasis reunion surfaced again. This time, rumors of a massive concert at Heaton Park in London and Manchester in 2025 and a 10-day live concert at Wembley Stadium were reported, and when fans responded to the news via X, Liam replied, “See you in the front row. When asked “When will you announce the reunion?” to which he replied, “Next Friday,” and rumors of a reunion began to heat up.

And when Liam performed the Oasis song “Half the World Away” during his headlining appearance at the Reading & Leeds Festival a few hours earlier, he said, “I want to dedicate this song to Noel fucking Gallagher,” NME reported.
Then, after the Reading & Leeds Festival, the words “August 27, 8 am, Oasis” appeared on the screen. This mysterious announcement was also posted on Oasis’ official and Liam & Noel’s social networking sites.

The August 27th announcement is currently said to be about the reunion, but since 2024 is the 30th anniversary year of “Definitely Maybe,” there is a big possibility that it will be about the reunion as well. Whatever the case may be, Oasis will be the talk of the town on August 27.
